abramsantiques Store US Army troops and US Marines of WW2 were issued the M-1942 first aid pouch to carry first field dressings. Some troopers chose to camouFlage their first aid pouches for better concealment in the field. This US Army USMC Marine WW2 FIELD CAMOUFlagED M-1942 KHAKI FIRST AID POUCH is in good condition, with moderate patina to the wire hanger at back, some chipping to the left side of the wire hanger at back, some spots of orangish soiling at the middle front flap and at the lower middle back, moderate orangish soiling at the upper right front (underneath the flap), the middle interior front flap, and the upper right interior front flap, a bit of weakening to the canvas underneath the \"male\" portion of the \"lift-the-dot\" front closure, some patina to the \"lift-the-dot\" front closure, and with some overall fading and age wear evident (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the pouch is in fine shape, with absolutely no rips, holes, tears, or other damage to the tough originally khaki canvas construction. Most interestingly, it bears a well executed field camouFlage finish of reddish brown and grayish green spots at front and at the upper back. The pouch boasts a functional darkened brass \"lift-the-dot\" front closure, and is complete with the original darkened metal wire hanger at back. It carries an illegible maker and date stamping at the middle back, and is a fine example of a rare, original US Army USMC Marine WW2 FIELD CAMOUFlagED M-1942 KHAKI FIRST AID POUCH.
