Up for sale is this Zippo lighter bearing the insignia of the United States Ship Daniel Boone SSBN-629. The spring on the lid is broken and the lid opens but won\'t stay closed. The lighter also needs a flint in order to spark. It has surface scratches commensurate with use. This one has the gold colored insignias on both sides.

The USS Daniel Boone is a James Madison-class ballistic missile submarine, and is the only ship of the USNavy to be named after Daniel Boone (1734–1820), the pioneer and frontiersman.

I have various other lighters up for sale (some Zippo USNavy, some Godzilla novelty)- check them out, as I will gladly combine shipping on multiple purchases.

I never intentionally misrepresent an item or try to deceive anyone in any way. I always describe my items as accurately as possible, with no attempt to oversell the condition or quality. I try to point out any defects or flaws so that you know exactly what you are getting. I will gladly refund the purchase price (upon return of the item in its original condition) if I misstated anything or overlooked a significant flaw in the item. Otherwise- sales are final. But if a return is mutually agreed upon, the buyer must return the item packed and protected in the same manner as I shipped it out, and using the same shipping method in which I shipped it out in the first place- for instance, if I sent it insured and/or with a signature required, that\'s the way it must be sent back. These extra services would only be used in the case of an expensive item, for everyone\'s protection.

For international shipping, I strongly prefer to use US PostalService International Express Mail, insured, with signature confirmation required. In certain cases I may allow the use of USPostalService Priority Mail, which is cheaper and does not require signature confirmation. This is a less secure method, and I will not be responsible if the item gets lost in transit. Please inquire before offerding, if interested in Priority rather than Express. Please be aware that some countries do not allow certain items (such as jewelry) into their borders- this is beyond my control, and not the decision of the US but rather the decision of the other country.
