this is for the mount. This is NOT a weapon part. This part has nothing to do with the function of any type of weapon. It is merely a means of holding a weapon. A weapon holding rack of sorts. The weapon in the picture is an Airsoft.

Up for sale is a USGI Military M240BravoVehicle Mounted Swivel Weapon Mount. You are ONLY getting the weapon mount. The jerry can holder and M240 airsoftare NOT included with this sale. They are there to show size and application of the weapon mount. Please review the pictures for what you are getting. What you see in regard to the mount itself is what you\'ll be receiving. As you can see in the picture, it is missing the pintle locking assy. It is the same one used on the MK64 mounts and can be found on . Also, the swiveling portion must have gotten some condensation inside the shaft. When I bought this swivel last year it rotated freely with no issues. I have this mount stored outside in my covered M105A2 Cargo Cover. Through condensation and the such it appears moisture must have gotten inside the swiveling portions. At this time, the lower swivel does not want to rotate. The top swivel does rotate about 2-4\" to each side if you muscle it. A good soaking of PB Blaster and a few whacks from a rubber mallet should free her up. Also, it appears the military already had a remedy in mind because you can easily disassemble the swivel portions by removing the locking clip on the end of the swivel shaft and separate the two portions. I haven\'t spent anytime trying to take this thing apart. I\'m in the process of cleaning out my parts trailer and remembered I had this weapon mount.

I don\'t know the application of this mount. I just bought it because it looked cool and thought I would use it. After a year and forgetting I had it, it\'s time to sell it. The guy I bought it from said it was the M240B door mount found on the Spec-Ops HMMWV. He said it was the one you\'d see in the passenger door jam. I cannot verify this application so just passing along what I was told.
