These 5x7 awe-inspiringblack and white photos show the Christening Ceremony with Pres. and First Lady Hoover,and the First Walkout of the ship. DatedAug. 26, 1931.
Packaged nicely in a 'Stivas Studio' envelope, Akron,Ohio with personal address and a 5 cent Teddy Roosevelt stamp! These photos are in very good to excellent condition, have been carefully packaged and kept, with personal blue-inkhandwriting along bottoms, and the Stivas stamp on back. One photo has a small dot of blue ink on picture noting Mrs. Hoover. One photo is unmarked with unidentified persons, possibly spectators or passengers.
A truly treasured keepsake, this nostalgic set can be yours.
