Antique 19th Century sterling silver novelty sugar tongs in the form of a Chinese man (or Humpty-Dumpty) with long arms outstretched to form a pair of sugar nips, complete with red and green glass eyes, by Francis Higgins, London 1885. In very good condition, no nasty damages or repairs, just general wear, interior sprung in perfect working order.
