SILVER DESSERT SPOON

A very rare solid silver Scottish provincial dessert spoon, hallmarked for Paisley by the maker William Hannay circa 1800, featuring an anchor mark and the very rarely seen Rat town mark.

This very collectable dessert spoon is in the popular Old English Pattern, It features an ornate monogram to the terminal and is in excellent order with no damage or repairs. It measures approximately 18.5cms in length and weighs 30.6g, a desirable and collectable piece of provincial silver.
