Up for sale with is a Great early ArtNouveauEnglish Sterling Silver Double Inkwell or Inkstand. The Inkwell shows great design throughout and is very much a cross over fromtheVictorianto Art NouveauPeriod. The Inkstand features 2 fine Hand Cut GlassInkwells with Sterling Silver hinged lids. The Inkwell is overall in very fine condition the only thing to point out is the Inkwell Lids show some signs of dents and repairs. No chips, cracks or repairs to the Bottles. The Inkwell displays very nicely and would look great on an Antique Desk or in a collection of Inkwells, measuring 10\" long by3 tall with a quality weight of173 grams without the Bottles. The Inkwell is fully Hallmarked for the fine Period SilversmithsJohn Harrison & Co., Sheffield England, Sterling Silver and the Date Letter for 1872.This is a beautifulInkwell for any collection or it would make a fine and unique gift.
