Fantastic set of 9 dessert plates hand painted by Howard B Reury:

*Born in New York in 1870, and worked with the finest art studios in Chicago of the early 1900\'s. Pickard Studio from 1903-1912. He was also associated with Pitkin & Brooks at that time. He operated on his own 1915-1916.

*Rich wild rose or apple or cherry fruit blossom spring floral pattern, gold gilded edge and his famous signature on the front of each plate

*These measure 6\" across

*The porcelain plates are marked Austria on the backs along with a green coat of arms crest or logo and an additional mark of x, 40 or 15. 4 plates have the x, 4 have the 40 and one has the 15

*You will love them!

*Good condition for the age - one plate with minor bottom chips, one with small spot of gold loss on top edge, and one with bottom edge chips that appear to be original to the plate as they are gilded over. See last 3 pics. Please view and enlarge photos to inspect fine details and to form an opinion about wear. Use the arrows beside the pictures to give yourself the opportunity to scroll through them all.
