offered here is avery finewmf secessionist stamp box,it is in a polished condition but there is no loss to the strong geometric secessionist design to the lid and sides,lifting the lid reveals the four stamp compartments it would have been made during the secessionist jugendstil era around 1906 at the same time as similar pieces were produced by the other german factories,kayserzinn,osiris and orivit,also producing quality pewter pieces at the time was the English company liberty & co who after importing german pieces decided to manufacture their own,thus the Cymric & tudric ranges of silver & pewter ware designed by Archibald knox were launched,the overall condition should be considered as excellent,it measures 2.5\" x 2.25\" and is fully marked to the back.i will be listing more wmf pieces like this in the coming weeks.
