this is a very interesting old metal helmet, info and viewing best option, it looks like it could be a very old example, possibly cromwellian, the leather fittings inside look like later replacements, but the helmet itself does look to have great age, im aware that reproductions are probably made of this style of helmet, but my opinion would be a genuine example possibly from the 1600s or so. like i say viewing is the best option otherwise im having to sell as seen and unknown age or origin. makes an amazing display piece, it came from a large private collection, please enlarge all 12 photos. im sure you wont find much better than this.
