Up for sale with is a very nice Locking Tea Caddy Box. I don\'t much about this piece. The Box at first glance appears to be a Victorian example with a Wedgwood Pottery Plaque but upon closer examination the Box is not over 100 years old and the Wedgwood Plaque is actually plastic. The Box is of nice quality throughout with Rosewood veneers and finely etched Brass Mounts. There is a key and the lock does work though it is very stiff. The Box is in good condition overall, just a few tacks are missing resulting in one portion of Brass mount lifting, otherwise no real damage. The Box displays very nicely measuring 7-3/4\" long by 4-1/4\" wide and sits 5-1/4\" tall. A great looking piece for decoration or for modern use.
