VERY NICE EUROPEAN HUNTING KNIFE 18TH CENTURY:

This is a lovely example of a European Knife Dagger that dates from the mid to late 18th Century. It is mounted with a blade that measures 5 1/2 inches in length by 1 inch at the widest. The blade reflects some old forging flaws but does remain in good condition and is beautifully enhanced with a decorative scallop at the heel. The gorgeous spiral carved blond horn hilt is nicely accentuated with a brass ferrule and pommel and although has a little insect spotting, does remain healthy and very tight in condition.
