An antique Dublin sterling silver tea caddy by Thomas Jones. This piece features an oval shape with chased floral borders at the top and base and an oval frame to the front with a lion depiction, surrounded by ribbon and foliage. There is a hinged lid at the top with a drop-ring handle. The underside is stamped with the Thomas Jones maker’s mark, along with the Dublin city mark, sterling fineness standard, and the letter “K” in a shield cartouche for 1782. The approximate weight is 12.150 oz

Good CONDITION - surface wear including light scratches and tarnish; key not included.
