WE JUST PURCHASED A VERY NICE COLLECTION OF VERY EARLY 18TH CENTURY AMERICAN IRONWARE FROM A NEH HAMPSHIRE COLLECTOR. THIS COLLECTOR BOUGHT ONLY THE BEST FORM AND WONDERFUL OLD SURFACES. THIS PIECE IS FROM THE SAME COLLECTION AS THE PILGRIM TASTING SPOON WE HAVE LISTED THIS WEEK AS WELL AS THE RARE DOUBLE HEART FORK AND THE WONDERFUL HEART FORK WE SOLD LAST WEEK.

AN EXTREMELY RARE 18TH CENTURY Cast Iron American FISH Roasting Fork, New England, Circa 1780-1820 in great old surface and in a wonderful and rare size ALL IN NICE OLD SURFACE AND PATINA.

A VERY RARE FORM. THESE FORKS WERE USED FOR FISH AND FOWL. THE SPREADING OF THE TINES (3) WERE MADE SO YOU COULD USE IT AS A FORK AND ALSO AS A SMALL SPATULA.

Great surface wear and wonderful hand forged tool marks throughout.
