She is extremely rare doll her head designed by Max Handwerck c1899 marked 283/53 28.5 Germany. She is small 22” doll or about size 10
She is one of the beautiful Pretenders made to look like French Bebe dolls and also known as the \"Handwerck Bébé” for its resemblance to the Bébé Jumeau. Handwerk Bebe doll is rarer than French Jumeau
Value Points: very beautiful doll with pleasing pale bisque with blue paperweight glass eyes(look how dip her eyes), heavy hand painted lashes, pail blonde mohair wig, original stamped German wood composition body with original finish, gorgeous French dress and petticoat.
Her bisque is beautiful perfect with no hairlines, chips or repairs, only few small rubs and wig pulls. Her body is in good condition with some repair, but still with her original finish
Her dress-out of this world! You will not find any better than this little darling! Cabinet size and ready for display.
She is VERY RARE and WONDERFUL DOLL will make valuable addition to any doll collection
