VERY RARE Antique 12 pc SILVER & GRANITE Stone Handled FISH SET LEVESLEY BROS.:

This sale is for a Rare & Unusual set of AntiqueFish Setwith GRANITE or STONE HANDLES.

In all my years of dealing in sterling & silver plate, I have never seen or heard of a stone handled fish set.

The set consists of 6 FISH KNIVES & 6 FISH FORKS.

The blades of the Fish Knives are marked with the makers marks for the fine silversmiths of LEVESLEY BROS. from Sheffield England who were in business from 1863-1935.

The Fish Knives measure approximately 8 5/8 inches in length and the Fish Forks measure approximately 7 7/8 inches in length.

The set is in very good condition with no cracks or damage to the stone handles; however, one of the heels or back side of one of the forks isshowing some wear through to the silverplate - Please see Close-up photo.

This is quite a find, match your modern granite kitchen counter with antique flatware.
