Wonderful and very rare small antique pewter porringer with eagle touchmarkMeasures 4 1/2" wide (including handle) x 3" diameter x 1" highBased on my research, I believe this likely dates from the 1700's - early 1800's, possibly even earlierI also believe this to be American because of the eagle form touchmark. I could not identify the eagle mark. Perhaps you will be able to.I could not find any other makers marks or initials on the piece.The condition appears to be excellent for the age with only a tiny crack in one arm of the cutout work -see photos, that does not go all the way through. There is some very minor pitting inside the bowl but not bad.Overall wonderful condition for the age.
