For sale is this truly world class and extremely fine quality antique Persian brass tray dating to theearly 1800\'s.
This is a highly important and very rare tray because it depicts many stories from the holy Quran.
It has been hand chased with some of the most breathtaking scenes I have seen on any tray of this sort.The tray had been adorned with figures and animals some simply stunning Arabic calligraphy of the finest standards.
This tray is one of the most rarest and most collectible tray with the most fascinating subjects that I have ever had the pleasure of owning, and has actually come from my own personal collection.
It is extremely hard to find such a large tray which such fine quality work which has all been completed by hand. Normally the larger trays are lower in quality, as the maker would not spend so much time with the work. However the maker of this tray must have put so much time, effort and dedication into creating this masterpiece.
