Anunusual antique spill vase, earthenware I believe, totally covered in a rich blackglaze, printed (?bat printed) withGrecian/neo classical figures and a Greek Key border and finished with richgilding on the rim and foot.

Thereis a curious, but deliberate, circular indent on one side near the foot – seephoto.

Markedon the base with just a script F and 311 (see photo)

It measuresapproximately 4 1/2 inches in height x 2 1/8 inches rim diameter x 2 5/8 inchesbase diameter.

Itis in VERY GOOD CONDITION with just a few minor surface marks and a couple of MINUSCULE scuffs to theunderside edge of the foot, showing a reddy brown earthenware/terracotta below (seeHIGHLY MAGNIFIED LAST PHOTO).

Thegilding and decoration are in good condition with just the occasionalminor blemish/some minor wear.
