As All my sales have run for over 10 years selling on Everything is to be sold to the high buyer with Absolutely s, just like a Real sale should be! I do wish everyone the Very Best of luck with the sales!

Mark Your Calendars, this sale ends the evening of WednesdayFeb 27th

Up for sale is a Very Fine and Unusual Japanese Blue & White Porcelain Mounted Knife. The Knife is a very interesting piece, and I have not seen another one remotely like this. I was told the Knife would date to the later 19thc, Japanese Meiji period. Although unsigned I was told the Knife is possibly an example by Makazu Kozan, seeing Kozan was well known for making fine and unusual porcelain objects like this. The Knife is finely decorated with dragon figures among clouds. The Knife also has nice gold gilt coral beads which hold in the blade. I have unscrewed the coral beads, but I could not get the blade to loosen out, and I do not want to pull to hard and damage the piece. So I am unsure if the blade is signed? The Knife is in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Knife is a nice size for displaying in a cabinet or on a shelf measuring 13-3/4 inches long with the blade measuring 7 inches long. The Knife is a very interesting example, and I believe it could be some time before you see another one like this up for sale, mostly with s!
