VG SPIRIT - The family that plays together MONO LP UK original A1/B1 1969

These records are all from my personalcollection built up over almost 50 years. Some were bought new, otherspre-owned so condition will vary. Please do read and understand the detaileddescription which is my honest personal assessment - you can always check howgood or bad that is by checking my response. My attempt at grading is based onthe commonly used Record Collector grading system (as detailed below) except I won\'t use Mint. Questions are welcome ifanything is unclear. Happy offerding..

This listing is for a decent original UK mono copy of the 1969 classic
UK CBS label
1969
Cat Number: M 63523 matrix A1 / B1
Mode: Mono

The Album:
Here\'s my MONO copy of this classic (a favourite of mine so I had one of each). The sleeve actually has a sticker saying that CBS stereo records can be played on mono equipment, but this is definitely the Mono version -I think CBS used to sticker a lot of their sleeves at the time to save having to produce both versions, I just played it right through and it plays well with just the odd touch of crackling but I know I did play it a fair amount back in the day, so will only grade it as VG.

Condition:
Cover: Single front-laminated sleeve is in decent condition - it has light ringwear and laminate creasing, and the mainly white unlaminated rear is typically slightly grubby, the spine is well defined with all text clearly legible. No writing or stickers apart from that CBS one. Orange CBS inner
Labels: Orange labels are clean with no writing or stickers. Average number ofspindle marks
Vinyl: Vinyl has a number of the customary and expected light surface scrapes, no nasty marks. It plays with an occasional background crackle but nothing over intrusive and generally very well throughout.

Overall:
A nice copy of this album - I\'d guess that this might be professionally graded at (cover /vinyl) VG / VG

Terms:
Please note that I tryto test-play at least part of each record before listing. I played most of this one, but if you do discovera problem which I might have missed, please do not hesitate to contact me and Iwill do all I can to rectify the situation. Postage: I always make a loss on postage. now surcharge sellers 10% of postage costs for which there can beno justification - I refuse to pass this levy on to buyers, so youonly pay post and packing, they get to rip me off, not you.

Current UK internal weight ranges allow two or three LPs tobe posted first class for the same cost as one. Second class charges can currently cover 5 or 6 albums but for 4-6 I\'ll use a second mailer. Approximate prices for normal postage with new custom packaging -

UK £3-79 first class for upto 1kg (1,2 or 3 average weight LPs), £3-29 second class for 1 - 3 or £3-68 for 4 - 6 LP\'s. Double LP\'s count as two

Europe £6.29 + £1.45each additional,

Rest of world £8.44+ £2.70 each additional item

These amountsinclude estimated actual Royal Mail cost for first class or air mail, plus 39pfor cost of packaging material (a brand new custom mailer with stiffener).

International buyers welcome, but postage to some locations will be handled by the global shipping program - unfortunately I have no control over the onward shipping cost, just the UK leg which will cost as above.

I\'m happy to holdrecords for a short while if you wish to offer on more and combine shipment, butit helps if you can let me know particularly when offerding on items separated bya few days.

Losses: Royal Mail maximumcompensation is £20 unless items are signed-for. Compensation on signed-forshipments is up to £50. Overseas purchasers - if your purchase is well over £20,a signed for service must be selected when paying or shipping will be at yourown risk, not mine, and normal airmail will only be covered for up to £20. Payment bySterling cheque / money order, or via Paypal

Thank you to all who have already given new homes tomy beloved vinyl, and may you continue to enjoy these records for years to come

(I try tograde along the same lines as professional sellers might. However, I don’t useMint or NM for any LP’s of significant vintage as most will as a minimum have paperscuffs and dust / static build up however good they look .. so EX+ is as goodas I will go. I don\'t have any of the lower 3 grades which are there for reference only. Most records in my own collection are VG+ and EX, the sleeveswill tend to be VG and VG+)MINT: The recorditself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration insound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, bookletor poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-playedshould be Mint.EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there isvery little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might haveslight wear and / or creasing.VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays nomajor deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and theoccasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality hasnoticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Thecover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properlyand displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover andcontents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surfacenoise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
