An album of sketches, drawings paintings letters and original etchings by the English artist Henry Pope. These date from the 1880\'s to about 1909 . There are 22 pages with entries. There are four original signed etchings, 13 drawings/sketches and 9 watercolour paintings. Some are attached to letters to a loved one. The book measures 10\" x 8\" and has a heavily embossed cover decorated with mythical figures and creatures. The pages are board. There is foxing throughout , but mainly on the boards, the foxing is lighter on the pictures. There is a dedication inside the front of the book saying where it was purchased (Cottesbrook) in 1920.
