This is forafine well carved Victorian black forestnutcracker from the early 1900s. It has a hand carved figural mans head on the handle which is nicely detailed to show his features and his tasselled nightcap.The mans mouth opens toand under the lever handle there is a space to crack the nut. It is in absolute excellentcondition with nodamage or wear at allat alland it has a lovely rich colour. Itstands210mm (8\") tall.
