I purchased this very nice Victorian pillow cover that buttons up the back and it has embroidery in the turkey red work stitch and is very well done. The material is a cotton muslin and there are a few worn stitches in the ruffle but it is in generally good shape and measures 28 x 28\". There is one small hole in the ruffle and one area where the ruffle is coming away from the body. The body is in fine shape with no holes or stains on the front. There are some tiny brown dots on the back edge as though at one time it was stored near wood. Th view these flaws look at the last 2 photos. ALl in all a nice early piece to frame up or use.

DESCRIPTION

In Western Pa, near the mountains there are many generational homes with tons of vintage & antique items along with baby-boomer items. I find items from Mid-Century Modern to great old primitives.
