VICTORIAN NEEDLE CASE INTRICATE PERFORATED CUT PAPER LACE SCISSOR WORK VELVET:

This is for an oldlate Georgian early Victorian scissor work needle from the 1830s. Thecase with a beautiful intricate cover made from card over velvet. The card has been made with perforations that have then been cut and placed on top of one another into a symmetrical pattern. It is very delicate work which looks like lace. It is in good condition with some of the pattern missing off one side and itmeasures 67mm (2.5") by47mm (1.75") when closed.
