MONTBLANC's - ever so desirable and impressive No. 6 LONG black hard rubber retractable nib safety fountain pen

Complete with correct hard card box - correct safety pen instruction sheet (in German) - period ink filling pipette and ever so rare Montblanc no. 6 size nickel plated accomodation clip !!

(Clip slides off the cap easily and has not damaged or marked the cap )

Also fitted with early 1920's

In medium/fine to broad point with plenty of FLEX ability and good iridium. Writes a smooth and interesting variable line when dip tested…...

No cracks, dents, dings, visible scratches or personalisations - excellent period condition !!

All imprints present, but showing some wear from handling over the decades

Black hard rubber has been previously polished to bring back the gloss black finish.

Large white star shows the expected vintage ageing….

Retractable nib mechanism operates perfectly - a new cork seal was fitted a few years ago, but not tested and will probaly need soaking in water before filling the barrel with ink.

These pens are best used as dip pens or stored to admire in a collection. Not really for everyday use !!

Worn turning knob imprint reads - '6M'

The pen is a pipette filling safety filler - to use with bottled ink only

Fully serviced -

All parts cleaned, a cork seal previously refitted, -but not tested !. Ready to store straight into acollection…..and to be admired !!
