Up for offer is a beautiful RARE Antique/Vintage 1872-1880's finely detailed & decorative DRESDEN MEISSEN FINE PORCELAIN SHELF made in germany. This is a two tiered black lacquered wooden scallop shelf with silver lined mirrors. (WOULD PREFER LOCAL PICK-UP -----INQUIRE ABOUT SHIPPING OR DELIVERY)This is a 1800's GERMAN decorative vintage porcelain shelf that is in good condition for it's vintage old age and wear. Their are a half dozen or so minor nicks/flea bits on some of it's delicately applied fine porcelain flowers & vine petal leaves. Some visual aged cracks or crackling can be seen on its two front lower pillars. These two pillars can be spun and turned around so these fine cracks will not be visually seen. The old vintage silver backed mirrors are in pretty good shape except for some very slight minor wear around their lower bottom edges along with a few small tiny chips. The black ebony lacquered wooden scalloped shelves and slotted wooden back all look to be original and in pretty good shape.This antique/vintage Victorian era hand made and hand painted MEISSEN PORCELAIN SHELF has many, many fine beautiful vine flowers on its pillars highlighted by colorful detailed butterflies and colorful lady bugs. There also are many other detailed and colorful flying insects on the pillars.. This is one very beautiful and outstanding example of the Victoria Era craftsmanship. This shelf is truly an outstanding MEISSEN PORCELAIN work of art.!!!!!This shelf has two top mounted steel hooks for hanging and it also has its two white original porcelain finals attached on it. Some others shelves seem to have their finials missing.Shelf dates back to ca. 1872-1880's .
