This is one of two ORIGINAL, vintage Log Cabin syrup tins that I am currently offering. (Check my other sales to see a different can.) This tin has cartoon-like graphics. I believe it is from the 1930\'s - give or take. The can pictures a little girl in the open door of a cabin. (There are other versions with a little boy or a bear cub in the doorway.) The tin is marked: \"Towle\'s LOG CABIN SYRUP Absolutely Pure...CANE AND MAPLE SUGAR SYRUPS...Log Cabin Division Of General Foods Corporation...Net Contents 1 PT. 10 FL. OZ...NET WT. 2 LBS. 3 OZS...Hoboken, N.J., U.S.A...MADE IN U.S.A.\" The base of the can measures 4 & 3/4 inches long, and 3 & 1/8 inches wide. It is 4 & 3/4 inches tall, at the pointed top of the roof - not including the top spout. The overall condition is FINE. I would call this an 8 on a scale of 10. (Please read the description, look at the pictures, and make your OWN determination as to the condition.) IT IS MISSING THE CAP. There are some small, thin rust specks on the ROOF. They are a bit hard to see, unless you hold the can at a certain angel. The tin has a few small scratches and paint nicks, but for the most part the can is clean and bright, with nice pant. It not perfect, but it is still a VERY nice example of this hard to find can. It is guaranteed to be OLD & ORIGINAL or your money back.
