Up for sale today is this VERY RARE STERLING SILVERITALIAN CIGAR BOX. This piece is inGREAT condition with a sterling silver top and solid wood bottom. This piece measures 7 inches long, 5 1/2inches wide and 2 inches tall. Thispiece is marked on the side of the lid and the opening latch. The lid is marked 800 with a circle, adiamond with an A in the middle and a letter on each side that I can\'t make outand a REALLY small circle with letters inside that I can\'t make out. The underside of the handle is marked 800with a circle and the same REALLY small circle with letters that I can\'t makeout. The symbol on the inside is also importantbecause it is back with the Italian government used to control all the Tobaccosales back in the day. It is hard tofind anything with that seal on it anymore.The mark you see on the top is just a small tarnish spot. With a good cleaning it will look likenew. Please email me with anyquestions.
