Vintage - Obsolete - Historical Badgeover 75 years Old
Circa 1930\'s Sterling Silver San Francisco Special Police Badge. The letters are in Blue Enamel. The badge says \" San Francisco Special Police S.M.M. Chief\'s Office\", (Obsolete unit). The back is hallmarked \"Irvine & Jachens S.F.\" and \"Sterling\". It is engraved on the back - \"presented to \"name\" by William J. Quinn Chief of Police\". The badge comes in an oldpolice badge wallet, see pic.The badge is 2 1/4\" x 2 1/4\". It weighs .765 ounces. The badge is in excellent condition. It has a natural patina, I have not cleaned or polished it.
