Click to View Image Album A WONDERFUL RARE VINTAGE Christmas HARD PLASTIC PURPLE SANTA CANDY CONTAINER. HE WAS ORIGINALLY PART OF A SET OF SANTAS FROM SEARS CALLED \"SANTA AND HIS 5 LITTLE HELPERS CANDY WORKSHOP\" FROM THE 1940\'S. IT WAS MADE BY ROSBRO PLASTICS, A DIVISION OF THE E. ROSEN CANDY COMPANY, AND SOLD UNDER THE SEARS BRAND. THE ROSEN COMPANY AND THEIR SUBSIDIARIES (ROSBRO AND TICO) OFTEN SOLD THE RIGHTS TO SOME OF THEIR CANDY CONTAINERS TO COMPANIES LIKE SEARS TO OFFER HOLIDAY NOVELTIES LIKE THIS. THIS VERY RARE PURPLE SANTA IS COMPLETE WITH HIS TOOL ~ A GREEN AXE. HE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS, HARDLY ANY PAINT LOSS AND HE STILL RETAINS HIS HANGING LOOP AT THE TOP OF HIS HEAD. HE MEASURES 3 5/8\" IN HEIGHT (INCLUDING THE HANGING LOOP). *****PLEASE CHECK OUT THE OTHER VINTAGE Christmas DECORATIONS THAT I HAVE LISTED AND CHECK BACK OFTEN AS I LIST MORE EACH WEEK.Please keep in mind that vintage/antique items are OLD ~ 50 to 100 years old. They have usually all been used in the past and thus have the patina of age and use.
