This is a vintage menu from the old \"HOTEL ARTESIA\" in New Mexico. First built in 1903, the hotel burned to the grown in 1916. It was RE-BUILT in 1929 and demolished in 1978. Today, there is a NEW \"Hotel Artesia\" - but this menu is from the OLD hotel, that was demolished in 1978. From the prices listed inside, I would GUESS that this is from the 1950\'s - give or take. Examples: 1.) \"BEEF CHOP SUEY with rice - $1.00\" 2.) \"Half - Southern Fried Chicken, French Fried Potatoes, Cole Slaw or Salad, Hot Rolls - $1.50\" 3.) \"Hamburger with French Fries - 50 cents.\" The menu is printed on a single sheet of cardboard, and folded in half. When closed, it measures 10 by 13 inches. It opens to 20 by 13 inches. The condition is GOOD. There is some soiling on the FRONT cover. The back cover, and inside of the menu are clean. This item is guaranteed to be old & original or your money back.
