VINTAGE 1950s VOGUE GINNY BENT KNEE 8” WALKER DOLL NO. 2687594 BLONDE BALLERINA:

DESCRIPTION: This is a vintage 1954-1962 Ginny made by Vogue Dolls in the U.S.A. She is marked “GINNY VOGUE DOLLS INC. PAT. NO. 2687594 MADE INU.S.A.” on her back. She is made of hard plastic and features bluesleep eyes with molded eyelashes, and red pouting lips. Herstrawberry blonde hair is styled in braids, but her hair is a bitmessy, and could stand to be restyled. I am not sure how to do this,since she appears to have a glued-on wig. She has bending knees, isjointed at the shoulders and hips, and has walking motion when herhead is moved back and forth. She is wearing a gold and whiteballerina tutu tagged “VOGUE DOLLS, Inc.* BEDFORD, MASS., U.S.A.*REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.”, and matching white panties with gold trim. She still has her satin ballet slippers, although they are not in thebest condition.

DIMENSIONS: Approximately 7-1/2” tall

CONDITION: Overall GOOD, PLAYED-WITH, WORKING CONDITION. I do not see anybreaks or splits in the plastic. Her outfit has handling wear, andhas probably darkened with playwear or age.

Thisis a pretty nice Ginny to add to your vintage doll collection! Shewill look nice with your other Ginny, Jill, Madame Alexander(Alexanderkins), Betsy McCall, or other similar size dolls.
