ESTATE FIND!Featured is anADORABLE & UNUSUAL Funky-Fab Vintage1940s or 1950s Erawoven natural straw (pom pom Flower trimmed) Lidded (lined) Rockabilly/Swing/VLV style Basket Purse Hand Bag which could also be used for a Hat Box oras a FABULOUSsewing box/basket! There are no tags/labels in the purse/basketto indicate the designer. Basket/purse is made from natural-colored woven straw, with big Turquoise & Olive Green "pom pom" flowers trimming the front of basket and top of basket lid. Pom Pom Flowers are made from plasticized, crinkly raffia-type material. The wide/sturdy handle of basket bag is threaded through a slit in one side of the of the lid/top...so you can never lose or misplace the top or any ofbasket\'s contents! Basket has a single roomy compartment, which is fully lined in Caramel-Tan colored cotton or poly-cotton fabric. Basket bag measures9 1/2"wide(across center) x7 1/2" tall (top to bottom including the lid, but not including thehandle).InEXCELLENTVintage Condition.No real issues to report, other than some little minor frayed edges & some small superficial brownish spots/specks on the straw here & there.
