VINTAGE 1960\'sMR. ZIP LUNCH BOX AND THERMOS SETLunch box and thermos are in vintage, used condition.
The box is in very, very good condition.
Not quite near mint, but in fantastic condition compared to the majority of others on .
The thermos has definitely been used a lot.
Though it\'s been cleaned, there is brown staining around the outside, top part \"Mr Zip\" area.
The lid (it doesn\'t match others, so probably not original to thermos, though marked Aladdin),
is discolored too.
Both could use a good scrubbing and would hopefully help to clean it up more.
Both items show some level of paint loss and wear.
The metal pail shows tiny spots of rust here and there.
Still, much better condition compared to others.
The \"S.\" in \"U.S. Mail\" (front, top) has a surface scratch, causing paint loss.
This can be seen in the photos.
There\'s a \"line\" or a wrinkle in the metal along the same top front part where thermos goes.
I\'ve seen this on a few others.
It\'s not immediately noticeable unless it\'s help up the light at certain angles.
I\'m not saying it\'s minimal, but I am saying it\'s takes a second look to see it.
Again, some surface scratches, paint loss, light rust, discoloration here and there, on BOTH items.
The paint is still bright on the lunch box, which helps for display-ability.
