Offered here is a dog food dish. It is made of paper mache or pressed pulp. On the side, it has a paper label that reads: \"PURINA DOG CHOW...Helps Build Fine Dogs.\" In small letters, it is marked: \"SP 148B-10-60.\" I\'m not sure, but I think the last four digits are a date for: \"Oct. 1960.\" I assume that bowls like this were given away free by Purina, to help promote their product. The base measures 10 inches wide. The part holds the food is 7 inches wide and it measures about 2 & 1/4 inches tall. The condition is EXCELLENT, it has never been used. There is some yellowing to the paper label. This item is guaranteed to be old & original or your money back.
