This is a vintage oil painting (reproduction) 9\" x 11\" in a gold frame. On the back side of the painting there is a handwritten history of the painting on brown paper: \"French original by Bouchea 1703-1720. Copy by Houy, Frenchman. Purchased in Paris in 1962 by Marie & Harry A. Pyle to go to Ellen Frances Pyle, our granddaughter who accompanied us to Europe and who was a joy every minute. May she in later life use judgment in selecting a life companion\". The gold frame is showing some age and damage but the painting is in excellent condition.This painting has a verbal appraisal of between $200 and $250. Sorry, nothing in writing.Thanks for visiting.
