Primitively carved set. 32 Pieces included.Some wear with age. 1 King has spear broken as shown, included for restoration. 1 light queen missing hand as shown. 1 pawn has crack at hand, still attached; 1 pawn has spear off, spear included for restoration. No cracks, other breaks or repairs observed. Beautiful patina to wood, left as found. Considering the fine thin carving details of this set in places this set is instunning condition for age, clean. King holds long spear and shield, the bishop is bowman, the knight a crocodile with head and front claws up, the rook a native hut. The pawns, warriors with spears and shields.
