This is a vintage faux oil lamp, was purchased many years ago in Alaska by a military couple who were stationed there; retired now and had to downsize their home.It is ceramic, has a slidebutton on/off switch in the cord. The lamp resembles an oil lamp, is approximately 7 1/2\" across, 8\" tall, 2 1/4\" deep. The light works ok, the cord is about 6 feet long. Due to age, would suggest it be inspected by licensed electrician. Light bulb is not included. This delightful vintage item features an Eskimo girl in pink coat; there is a team of 4 sled dogs and a sled with a large package. \"Alaska\" is embossed on the side. Above is a clear glass chimney and matching shade. There are a few chips in the bottom of the chimney and the underside of the shade (these are hidden); mfgr. line on back of girls head, and light scuffs and paint loss. A unique retro souvenir.
