Vintage ANRI Hand Carved Wood Figurine of Dickens Character Sam Weller from The Pickwick Papers

The figurine of Sam Weller is carved from a single piece of wood. He is wearing a light colored vest stripped in red, brown pants and boots. He appears to have his left hand inserted into a boot that is resting on his raised knee.

The figurine measures 3-1/8 inches tall, almost 1¼ inches wide and almost 1 inch deep. It is in very good condition and is stamped on the bottom in ink “Hand Carved / Made in Italy / For G.M. CO. N.O.\"
