From an old and high-end estate, here for your consideration is this beautiful and rare German Meissen porcelain salt cellar. I was told that the delicate floral design is called \"purple pink Indian\" I can not confirm that.
As you may be able to see on the photos, there are three pieces: 1) Plate, 2) Salt Cellar, 3) Top to Salt Cellar. Plate and Salt Cellar are clearly marked with the old German Meissen blue mark.
CONDITION: All three items are in EXCELLENT vintage condition, no cracks, no nicks, no crazing, nothing is broken, there is a bit of wear on the gold gilt around the opening of the cellar. The colors are beautifully vivid and the gold gilt on all items is in VERY GOOD condition.
