Vintage Molly Pitcher Candy Box
Description

Very Rare Vintage Molly Pitcher Candy Box measures approximately 3-3/4\" x 6-3/4\" x 2\". The top of the paper-covered cardboard candy box features a delightful illustration of Molly Pitcher in ornate gold picture frame; raised braided outer edging; and the following words printed in raised gold lettering:

Additional illustrations appear on the edges of the box top. One illustration is titled \"BATTLE OF MONMOUTH 1778\" which shows Molly Pitcher loading a cannon with other Colonial soldiers, one of whom has fallen in battle and another on horseback. A second illusteration is titled \"MONUMENT AT CARLISLE, PA.\" showing the Molly Pitcher Revolutionary War monument.
