up for sale is a VINTAGE ANTIQUE RARE U.S. W.& L.E. GURLEY SURVEY LEVEL TRANSIT TELESCOPE SCOPE number 473361. it is stamp us on the scope mount and the case. I have not seen one on here that has the true us stamp on it. I was told it was around 1947 and that it came from a battle ship. but I was told that it is your responbile to do you research. don\'t hold me to it on what I said it was just info from the person I got it from. the leather strap is broke on the case.pic 8 there is a lite paint chip on the left of the pic. and pic three there is a lite scuffs on the edge. it is a vintage item it is untested .it has been on a shelf for display. w have other item in are store for sale .we ship usa only. items sold asis.thanks
