VINTAGE ANTIQUE SINGER SEWING MACHINE MODEL 99 BENTWOOD CARRYING CASE 1931:

A vintage Singer sewing machine, Model 99, made in 1931. Serial # A412532. In wooden case, key not included. I opened the case with a screwdriver after googling for advice. It wasn\'t easy, so I will send it to the buyer unlocked. I plugged the machine in and the light works, but I haven\'t tested it by sewing on it. The wheel turns freely when I turned it and the needle went up and down. The cord is worn, has been taped and has a spot of fray from the inside where it plugs into the machine. The machine decals are worn from usage. (see the photos.) My photo #5 shows a piece that was in the cabinet; I assume its a knee pedal, but I\'m not sure. There is no foot pedal. The case has an issue on the top, where the spindle handlle attaches and I have shown this damage in my photo #4. (The other side of the handle is fine.). The case has scratches and a bit of gray paint spatter. The wood on the base of the machine also has scratches and loss of finish, but no serious gouges or missing wood.
To the right person who loves to refurbish old machines, this one will make a nice project.
