VINTAGE ART DECO BRONZE GODDESS HOOD ORNAMENT- MOUNTED ON VINTAGE GLASS BASE:

Several years ago, I was looking at some old bronze reproductions of antique car hood ornaments. When I saw this bronze winged goddess it struck me that it was more like a piece of art. So instead of mounting it atop a marble base like so many other trophies, I used a vintage slag glass lamp base for the stand. The base is incredible and has its original marbled finish. It is a perfect marriage to this beautiful winged Goddess. Her arms lend themselves to be an awesome pen holder!

The display stands about 5 inches tall, and is secured to base with original bolt. Quite solid and heavy, as she is all bronze and the base is thick pressed glass. The base is 6 inches square.
