VINTAGE ART DECO GUILLOCHE ENAMEL & ENGRAVED MAYFAIR COMPACT W/ WRIST CHAIN:

Up for sale is this Vintage Art Deco MAYFAIR wrist dance compact that is silver tone (not sure of metal content, could be silver but there are no markings)that hasbeautiful etched designs and a 5/8\"guilloche centerplaquethat has alight green backgroundwith a pink cabbage roseand medium green foliage. The compact measures 2\" in diameter and 3/8\" deep.Ithas a design etched on the outside and engine turn design on the rest of the compact. The same designs are on the back with the exception of the center where the guilloche plaque is on the front, itis blank on the back for possible initial engraving. The paper clip handle measures 9\" total and hangs from a triangle shaped bail. Inside, the mirror is invery goodcondition for its age, just one small area with a blemish (seen in picture #3 & #5). There\'s anarea for rouge (none is there), the compact powderwell turns great andthere is a powder puff marked \"MAYFAIR\". Overall, this compact is inexcellentcondition for its age.
