GREAT VINTAGE PIECE, ART NOUVEAU PIECE, MEASUREMENTS: it stands 4-1/2\" high in the front, and is 6-1/2\" wide at the widest location, with a 8 1/2\" depth closed and 14 3/4\" opened fully. The brass coated cast iron of the book ends has the original finish. The rods are solid brass. There is NO rust anywhere. Look closely at the pictures to see everything.
