EXTRORDINARY ORIGINAL BARBIE #916 \"COMMUTER SET\"NEAR COMPLETE IN EXCELLENT VINTAGECONDITION!THIS ISTHE EXTREMELY RARETM VERSION!!!ALSO INCLUEDED AREA PAIR OFVERYRARENAVY BLUEJAPAN OT SHOES! These shoes are the second issued OT shoes in which the RIGHT foot is marked Japan and the left foot is unmarked. Also included are the \"kidskin\"vinylgloves thatwere originallyincludedwith this set. (See this The gloves are soft, supple and in excellent condition but for those who feelshort, white tricot gloves are the way to go, a pair are included.

This ensemble is near to mint! The B/W BarbieTMtag is not frayed. There are no torn seams or rips in the fabric of the cardigan jacket, skirt, satin bodysuit or beautiful, fuchsia hat(whichis crisp and bright.)Any imperfections in this ensemble areslight and depicted in the pictures: The blue and white checkednylon bodysuit hasa very small, tinyfray in the seam under the left arm and a small snag near the button--not at allnoticeable when ona doll! Some of the petals on the hat are folded from years of storage. Any attempt to straighten the petals will be left to the buyer!The hatbox shows some wear but is still in good condition for itsage and is the 1st issued, TM version. The top and sides are intact, the bottom panel seems a little lose but stillsnug and will not fall out. The crystal beaded necklace does not have the fastener to make it a double strand but the necklace fits easily over Barbie\'s head and can be looped twice to obtain the same effect. The snake bracelet is missing but if I find one, it will be included with the set.

The lotwill be package very securely in boxes to protect fragile items!

This setcamein the remarkable lot mentioned belowand includedthe extremely rare #4 Barbie witha soft, vinyl body seen in the first picture! There were several near mint to mint items in this lotthat are alsofor sale.All items were very carefully and lovingly played with and have been in storage fornearly 50 years! A reserve price has been set to protect my investment in this lot. Please note: Doll and stand are NOT included, sorry, but will be offered for sale soon (if I can part with her!)

Please note: I realized that the double strand, beaded necklace that was sold to me as authentic was NOT so I located and purchased the correct, vintage necklace and will include it with this set. I also located a snake bracelet and will include it, as well. Both the necklace and bracelet are in very good vintage condition. The bracelet appears to have been repaired at one time but still looks good when displayed. Please message me if you have any questions about these changes. I will send pictures of the necklace and bracelet, if requested.
