BEAUTIFUL BIG VINTAGE CARVED WOOD & LUCITE FISH BROOCH OR PIN, PAINTED RED, BLUE & WHITE YELLOW EYE, JUST OVER 3 1/2\" LONG, MID CENTURY MODERN, RETRO, VERY GOOD CONDITION Up for offer is this beautiful vintage carved wood and Lucite fish pin or brooch. There are blue and red stripes painted on the Lucite fins and tail while the body has a white stripe and red mouth and gill. The eye is also Lucite with a yellow iris and black pupil. The fish measures just a little over 3 1/2\" long and a bit over 2 1/2\" tall.

This pin is in very good condition in my opinion. Please note that I am not an expert but I do include lots of photos and try to describe each piece to the best of my ability. The pin has a little paint loss on both the Lucite and the wood but nothing that detracts from this unusual piece. There is a little nick in the wood near the upper fin but I\'m pretty sure this is just how it was made.There is some rust on the pin back which I\'ve tried to show in the images provided. The pin mechanism is a C clamp type without a safety catch and is in good working order. I only wiped this piece down with a damp cloth so it could probably use a good cleaning.
