For offer is a vintage carved wood chess set with a wood carved board/box that holds the pieces in the drawers on the sides. It\'s also a work of art. The white tiles have different Asian scenes of tigers,geisha\'s, koi fish,ships on water and more. The board/box measures about 18 X 9X5 tall when folded in half, so around 18 square when open. There are bats carved in to the sides of the box and dragons at the corners when open for playing. The carved wood pieces are all there. The king measures about 5 in. tall and about 1 1/4 in. across the base. The pawns are about 3 in. tall and 7/8 of an inch across the bottoms. All are nicely carved and in good condition,the only issue is the elastic that holds the pieces is loose, can probably tighten if you choose.The box willweigh 8 lbs.9 oz.
